relate to 和 related to的区别

一、含义不同

1、relate to 涉及，有关

2、related to  与……有关

二、词性不同

1、relate to 为动词短语，可以做谓语。relate为动词，联系。

We offer courses that relate English literature to other subjects.

我们开设了一些将英国文学和其他科目联系起来的课程。

2、related to  为形容词短语，可用作表语。related为形容词，有联系的、相关的。

High unemployment is related to high crime rates.

高失业率和高犯罪率有因果关系。

三、用法不同

1、relate to 为动词短语，后面接宾语，表示有关、涉及。

All these questions relate to philosophy. 

这些问题都跟哲学有关。

2、related to  形容词短语，常用作be related to结构， 意思为（把…）联系起来；（与…）有因果关系，关联

The heart attack could be related to his car crash last year.

心脏病的发作可能与他去年的车祸有关

relate (something) to 涉及到,联系
I can't relate what he does to what he says.

(be) related to 有关
I have some books (which are) related to this phenomenon.
